ACT
As of the 2024-25 school year, Illinois is now an ACT state. Students in grades 9-11 are required to take a form of the ACT in the Spring semester. The tests are free of charge and are given during the school day.
9th grade - Pre-ACT 8/9
10th grade - Pre-ACT Secure
11th grade - ACT (free test, can be sent to colleges/universities) - Required for graduation

To register for a national ACT test (Saturdays), please visit www.actstudent.org. Students can register for and take these national test date exams as many times as they'd like.

PSAT/NMSQT - National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test - Optional exam for Juniors only (always held in October of their junior year)
