Freshmen Class Board Officers are nominated by their 8th-grade teachers and interviewed by Mrs. Durdan-Levy in April/May of their 8th-grade year. Members interested in future officer roles can follow the application guidelines for the Sophomore Class Board, but all are welcome to join the Freshmen Class Board as a general member. Other Members include 40+ freshmen who believe in building community and school spirit. We aim to model the community piece of Normal Community High School and support freshmen transitioning from middle to high school. We do so through volunteering, fundraising, and class-specific initiatives that include team building and service to NCHS. We are in charge of Homecoming hallway decorations, the HoCo door decorating contest, and lead participation in NCHS spirit events.
